MGM MIRAGE Hospitality and Asian Coast Development ( Canada) Ltd. to Develop MGM Grand Resort and Casino Ho Tram in Viet Nam

MGM MIRAGE and Asian Coast Development ( Canada)Ltd. (ACDL) are joining forces to develop the MGM Grand Resort and Casino Ho Tram(MGM Grand Ho Tram) – Viet Nam’s first " Las Vegas-style" integrated resort.  MGM Grand Ho Tram will be the first component of what is planned to be the largest tourism complex in Viet Nam - the $4.2 billion multi-property Ho Tram Strip resort complex being developed by ACDL along the pristine beaches of the South China Sea.

The MGM Grand Resort and Casino Ho Tram will be a luxury integrated resort and entertainment destination offering guests a premier hospitality experience in a spectacular natural setting. ACDL will own and finance the project, and MGM MIRAGE will provide developmenta ssistance, brand equity and operate the five-star integrated resort property upon completion.

MGM MIRAGE owns and operates 16 properties located in Nevada, Mississippi and Michigan,and has 50 per cent investments in four other properties in Nevada, New Jersey, Illinois and Macau. The company has entered into management agreements for future resorts in People's Republic of China and Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., as well as Viet Nam.

 The MGM Grand Ho Tram,slated to be among Viet Nam’s most luxurious resorts, will be enhanced by a variety of recreational activities, mouth-watering food and beverage establishments, a luxurious spa and state of the art gaming facilities, creating an unrivaled vacation experience.

In 2013,the five-star MGM Grand Ho Tram plans to open its doors offering 550 luxury guest rooms, a full spectrum of world-class amenities, a conference center and a spectacular gaming area consisting of 90 live table games, 500 electronic games and exquisite VIP facilities.

The planned second phase of the MGM Grand Ho Tram will open a new tower containing 550 additional guest rooms, along with 14 high-end private villas. Also added will be 500 electronic table games, bringing that total to 1,000. When complete, the MGM Grand Ho Tram will offer 1,114 five-star hotel rooms, including suites and villas.
