John (Jack) B. Maier - Director

Jack Maier is Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of FBR Capital Markets Financial Sponsors group (NASDAQ:FBCM) – one of the top 10 investment banks in the United States.  Prior to joining FBR, Mr. Maier was Managing Director and co-founder of Legacy Partners Group, an independent investment banking and advisory firm, founded in January 2003, and acquired by FBR in 2007.

Prior to Legacy, Mr. Maier was a Managing Director in Credit Suisse First Boston's M&A Group in New York and Co-Head of the firm's Global Exclusive Sales Group.  Mr. Maier joined CSFB in November 2000 when the company acquired Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.  Prior to DLJ, Mr. Maier held positions at Wasserstein Perella & Co. and Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Mr. Maier currently serves on the boards of several private companies and is active in various charitable and civic organizations. Mr. Maier is a member of the Calloway School Board of Visitors at Wake Forest University and a member of the Advisory Board of the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

Mr. Maier earned a Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University, earning the distinction of University Fellow, and a B.A. in Economics from Wake Forest University.
