ACDL Advisor The Right Honourable Jean Chretien meets with Vietnamese PM Dung

Former Canadian Prime Minister, and Asian Coast Development Advisor, the Right Honourable Jean Chretien met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Friday April 9, 2010 in Hanoi. During the meeting, Mr. Chretien reaffirmed his support of, and Asian Coast Development’s commitment to, the Ho Tram Strip integrated resort development in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

During his trip to Hanoi, Mr. Chretien, one of Canada’s longest serving politicians and a three-time former Prime Minister, also met with Minister Vo Hung Phuc of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. Earlier in the day, Mr. Chretien travelled to Vung Tau to meet with Chairman Tran Minh Sanh and Vice Chairman Ho Van Nien of the Ba Ria – Vung Tau People’s Committee and Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh, Secretary of the Communist Party in Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

Mr. Chretien was accompanied by Stephen Shoemaker, President and Chief Financial Officer of Asian Coast Development (Canada) Ltd. and senior executives from MGM MIRAGE and Harbinger Capital. MGM MIRAGE will operate the first resort on the Ho Tram Strip, the MGM Grand Ho Tram, while Harbinger Capital is one of the main investors in the project.
