Anthony Sanfilippo joined Pinnacle as president, chief executive officer and director in March 2010. He has more than 25 years of gaming industry experience including managing and developing gaming operations in diverse jurisdictions such as Louisiana, Missouri, Indiana and Nevada. In 2011, Anthony was honored as the Gaming Executive of the Year by Casino Journal Magazine. The well respected industry publication called him a ‘man on a mission’ for his work improving both financial performance and operational efficiency at Pinnacle Entertainment after just 14 months at the helm of the gaming company. Under Anthony’s leadership the Company has seen consistent improvements in operating performance as well as record market share performance for Pinnacle properties in Louisiana and Missouri. In addition, Anthony is establishing an attractive growth pipeline including new resort properties in Vietnam, Baton Rouge and at River Downs racetrack in Ohio. Since Anthony joined Pinnacle, the Company has formed new partnerships with world class brands including Wynn Resorts and Mercedes Benz, both featured prominently in the recently introduced mychoiceTM loyalty program. Anthony is most proud of the talented team of industry professionals who have been assembled to create the Best Casino Entertainment Company in the World. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Anthony was the president, chief executive officer and director of Multimedia Games, Inc. (2008-2010). Before joining Multimedia Games, he served in executive roles at Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., the world’s largest casino company, where he was president of Harrah’s central and western divisions, overseeing the operations of more than two dozen gaming facilities.
