Ho Tram, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province, Vietnam, 26 January, 2011: Asian Coast Development (Canada) Limited welcomed a delegation of local authorities to the site of its US$4.2 billion Ho Tram Strip development project.

Company officials welcomed the Deputy Chief of the Communist Party, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh together with representatives from the People’s Committee of Ba Ria Vung Tau, Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Construction, Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, VCCI Vung Tau, and the Tourism Association.

“As Vietnam ushers in the Year of the Cat, it is an honor to host this delegation of local dignitaries at our site, who have been so supportive of us in the Year of The Tiger, and with whom we look forward to working with closely in the year to come,” said Asian Coast Development (Canada) Limited CEO, Mr. Lloyd Nathan. “On behalf of ACDL, I would like to wish a happy, healthy and prosperous year of the Cat to all of our friends in Vietnam”.

"It is an honor to be visiting this site today”, said Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Deputy Chief of the Communist Party. "We would like to extend our best wishes to the management, staff and workers of ACDL, and extend our appreciation to them as they work hard to develop one of the largest projects in Ba Ria Vung Tau. In spite of the challenges of the global financial downturn, ACDL has achieved some huge milestones as it prepares to open phase 1 of its development in 2013.”

“We deeply value ACDL's efforts here, and wish all of their team health and happiness for the new year."

Welcomed at the site by a group from ACDL, the delegation met in the recently completed site office, which overlooks the six cranes hard at work on what will become the MGM Grand Ho Tram.

The Ho Tram site is scheduled for opening in the first quarter of 2013 and will include a five star hotel, initially with 541 rooms and expanding to 1,100, a 13,600 square meter entertainment area, retail, restaurants, bars, lounges, shows, conference and meeting areas, a golf course, and other leisure amenities, representing the first large-scale integrated resort development in Vietnam.  In its entirety, the Ho Tram Strip represents a $4.2 billion undertaking that covers 164 hectares of a prime beach-front location in Ba Ria Vung Tau.
